Video: "Making Christmas Crackers" 1910

Amazing footage from over 100 years ago showing the Christmas cracker process. Except for the frilly aprons, the picture below pretty much looks like our workshop!  Press the arrow to see the whole film. My favourite bits are about mid-way through. Truly wonderful. I watch it a few times a year for inspiration!  Although this film shows men and women working in a factory, much of the Christmas cracker work until quite recently was completed by women in their homes - not unlike the cottage industry at our workshop!
